Try the free TikTok Downloader HDTikTok video → HD MP4, no watermarkOpen toolThere are hundreds of TikTok downloaders. Most work, but they differ wildly in quality, ads and safety. Here's what to look for in the best TikTok downloader in 2026.
What makes a great TikTok downloader
- No watermark: it should fetch the original clean file.
- True HD: 1080p when the creator uploaded in 1080p.
- MP3 support: one click to grab the sound.
- No pop-ups or fake buttons.
- Works on iPhone: many tools break in Safari.
- Slideshow support: photo-mode TikToks should download as images.
How the popular tools compare
SnapTik and SSSTik are the best-known names. Both remove the watermark and offer MP3, but both show a lot of ads and occasionally redirect to other pages. TikMate and MusicallyDown are similar.
savetool.org focuses on a simple, ad-light interface: one box, a TikTok/Instagram switch, an HD MP4 / MP3 toggle, and a single download button. It also covers Instagram Reels, YouTube to MP4 and more from the same page.
Avoid TikTok downloader apps
Many "TikTok saver" apps on app stores are ad-heavy, ask for unnecessary permissions, or get removed. A browser-based tool needs no permissions at all.
Our verdict
Pick a tool that's fast, gives you real HD, supports MP3 and doesn't bombard you with ads. Try savetool.org's TikTok downloader and compare for yourself.
