How to Download Someone's Discord Profile Picture & Banner (Full Size)

Discord shows avatars as tiny circles, but the original image on Discord's CDN goes up to 4096×4096. Here's how to download a Discord profile picture and banner in full size.

Step 1: Turn on Developer Mode

1. Open Discord → User Settings (gear icon).
2. Go to Advanced.
3. Turn on Developer Mode.

Step 2: Copy the user ID

Right-click (desktop) or long-press (mobile) a user's name or avatar and choose Copy User ID. It's a long number like 80351110224678912.

Step 3: Download the avatar and banner

1. Open the Discord Profile & Banner Downloader.
2. Paste the ID and click Look up.
3. Click Avatar or Banner to download.

Animated avatars and banners (Nitro) download as GIFs; static ones as PNGs.

Why some users have no banner

Custom banners require Nitro. Users without one have a solid banner colour, which the tool shows as a hex code.

Server avatars

Per-server avatars aren't part of the public profile, so the tool returns the user's main avatar.
