Step-by-step on Windows or macOS
- Go to instagram.com and open the Reel or video post.
- Click the post's timestamp or the ⋯ menu → Copy link, or copy the URL from the address bar.
- Open the Instagram Video Downloader.
- Paste the link (Ctrl+V or ⌘V) and click Download.
- Click Download HD MP4. The file goes to your Downloads folder.
